Wonderment
The Three Passes and Everest Base Camp hike was a lot different than I thought. I imagined I would be standing in deep ravines among giant mountains soaring into the sky. The reality was, the trail itself climbs to extremely high elevations, so the surrounding mountains actually look relatively normal. Still, the dramatic peaks are a sight to behold.
