Nomads

Surviving a nomadic life in the harsh Tibetan Plateau is difficult. We may have a romantic idea of this lifestyle, the sense of freedom, one with nature. But the attraction of modern city life with warm houses, running water and electricity is hard to resist for the younger generation. Even the nomadic yak herders are switching to motorcycles and settling down in brick houses. These two traditional nomads may be the last of their kind.
